Supercell, the Finnish mobile game developer known for its the hugely successful games Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, will be the main partner of Badminton Finland in the forthcoming 2021 TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup i.e. the mixed team world championships that will be played in Vantaa, Finland 26.9.-3.10.2021.
This is the first time in 14 years that Sudirman Cup is played in Europe and badminton being one of the biggest and most popular sports in the world the broadcasts have a global reach of over half a billion households. The tournament will see a total of 16 teams fighting for the prestigious Sudirman Cup trophy, including e.g. top seeds China, Japan, Indonesia and Denmark, and most of the world ranking top 10 players and pairs.
The partnership will bring Clash Royale, the epic real-time battle game, widely visible in the tournament both on and off the court.
